Who are the Rain Makers?
The question should be who is! Rain Makers Christian Sports Ministry is the vision of Isaac Edwards. The ministry itself will be under the direction of Isaac Edwards. While there are plans to expand in the future, he will be the only full time staff. Rain Makers is governed to an 8-member board of directors: Mike Carder-TAMKO, Duane Williams-Leggett and Platt, Margie Moss-Joplin Decorating Center and Young Life supporter, Tony Allmoslecher-Christ In Youth, Hank Hoffman-Siricomm, Sue Dixon-Bible Study Fellowship and Young Life, Dr. Scott Brehm-Joplin Urology Association and Executive Director Isaac Edwards. Rain Makers is a non-profit organization in accordance with federal and state laws.

Isaac D. Edwards:
“My vision is to see youth grow in the fullness of God’s love in every area of their lives. I believe that God has called me to teach, live and be an example of God’s great love. There are three keys to my ministry: (1) I must have a personal relationship with God, (2) I must build Godly relationships with the youth, and (3) prayer. Christ is the one who will change lives and hearts, I am simply his instrument.”
– Isaac Edwards 2002

Isaac Edwards has been the youth director at First Presbyterian Church of Joplin, MO sine August 2001. He is a 2001 graduate of Montreat College where he majored in Christian Education.
